The Hyundai Creta facelift version is showcased in the Indonesian market in November 2021, while the India launch is still not officially confirmed.

The mid-size segment is the hottest in the country right now, and Hyundai Creta is one of the top leading candidates, with sales of thousands of cars per month. Hyundai is upgrading their cars, like the recently launched Hyundai Venue Facelift or the newly launched Hyundai Tucson. The upcoming plan of the brand is to launch the 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift version into the market. It has been 3 years since Creta launched in the market, and it desperately wanted a cosmetic makeover update. Hyundai Creta Facelift to be Launched in India soon.
Hyundai showcased the new Hyundai Creta facelift in the Indonesian market in November 2021 and recently launched the SUV in South Africa. So we could expect the facelift version to go on sale in the last of this financial year. If we talk about the pricing, then it is completely under wraps. No notice about its prices but it could be more expensive than the outgoing model by Rs 50,000.
Now with this new facelift version, Creta also carries Hyundai’s new design language, the same we saw in Tucson. This design language features a new front facia with an enlarged front grille in a geometry design, and the LED DRLs are involved in the grille in three pieces. The headlamps are in the revised position, but the shape and size of the projectors are changed. In contrast, the below part has a silver finish with black inserts in the middle.

The Hyundai Creta 2023 interior will mostly be retained; some addition to the inside is an updated version of Hyundai Bluelink Connect features, ADAS features would be added, vehicle tracking, stolen vehicle immobilizer, and valet parking mode. The carry forwarded features include – a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, push start/stop button, keyless go, request sensor, electric adjustable ORVMs, automatic inside rearview mirror, ventilated seats, and ambient lighting.
What’s the ADAS?
Similar to Tucson, the new facelift Hyundai Creta 2023 model will also be equipped with ADAS features that include – adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic avoidance assist, and autonomous emergency braking with forwarding collision avoidance.
What will be the engine and transmission options?
As it is a facelift version, there is not much to be changed in the mechanicals. Like the outgoing Creta, it offers three engine options – a 1.5L petrol, a 1.5L diesel, and a 1.4L turbocharged petrol. The power figures from the motors are 115 bhp, 115 bhp, and 140 bhp, respectively. Four transmission options will be offered – a 6-speed manual, a CVT, a 6-speed TC automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
