TVS motors firstly showcased the Zeppelin concept in the 2018 AutoExpo. Its looks clearly declare that it is a cruise bike. If this bike comes in 2020 then it has been the first cruiser bike of TVS lineup. The looks are very bold and stances are muscular which gives it a proper cruiser look. Here we providing you the information about the TVS Zeppelin that you should know.
TVS Zeppelin Expected Pricing?
The expected price of TVS Zeppelin is 1.50 lakhs (Ex-showroom)
The design is clearly shown that its gonna be a cruiser bike but somehow we got some elements which we found in only premium bikes like HD action camera mounted on the headlamp, a compact instrument console along with rev counter, Smart bio key, and online connectivity. The front upside-down shock absorbers are finished in golden which does look appealing and suit the bike very well. The tyres are quite chunky and thick, the radiator grille is finished in a silver finish and the color combination on the complete bike looks attractive.
The TVS Zeppelin was showcased with a 220cc motor paired with a 1200 watt regenerative assist motor with a 48 volt Li-Ion battery in the AutoExpo. TVS claimed that this motor setup gives 20% more torque as soon as you rotate the throttle. It also gets an ISG ( Integrated Starter Generator). If TVS launches the bike as it is powertrain then it will be the powerful mild-hybrid bike in the Indian Market.
Braking and Safety
TVS Zeppelin was showcased with Pirelli tyres of the front as well as rear. It comes with petal disc brakes. On the front tyre, the disc plate size is 300mm along with upside-down dual front shock absorbers and on the rear side, the plate size is 220mm along with the single mono-shock absorbers. TVS Zeppelin is a cruise bike and it must have ABS (Anti-locking Braking System). The TVS Zeppelin comes with a belt drive system which offers silent operations.
Expected Launch date and its Competitors?
This Bike comes with a cruiser behavior and it competes with Bajaj Avenger and upcoming Suzuki Intruder 250. The performance and mileage of this bike are going far better than its rivals if it launched with the same specs as its concept has. We have expectation from TVS as they deliver the product as like the concept because they showcased the Aukla concept in 2016 Autoexpo and delivered the same design language product name TVS Apache RR 310.
The expected launch date of TVS Zeppelin is the Third Quarter of 2020.
