Triumph Launched its new updated model of street triple rs with some significant changes. The street triple is one of the best-naked sports bikes in the market which produces in India. This bike supposed to go on sale in the last week of March, but due to a pandemic situation. The launch was postponed and could be held after the lockdown in India finishes.
There are some significant changes on the bike like the bug-eye headlamp setup is now on the sharper side and embedded with an eyebrow LEDs strip which gives its an aggressive look. The air intake system is now redesigned, Panels are now sharper to cut down the air through in result of low air throw onto the rider. The seat is also redesigned and finished in leather upholstery, Which offers better comfort and riding posture to the rider.
In spite of these changes, the price tag of the Triumph street triple RS remains the same as its predecessor. This bike is introduced in India with a price tag of 11.13 Lakhs(Ex-showroom).
This is not all new motorcycle but it does get a new updated BS6 compliant 765 cc engine which produces around 123 bhp and 79 Nm of torque( It is 2nm more than its predecessor). The Bi-directional quick shifter is also added up and it is not like the previous which supports only upshifts. In terms of performance, It offers a good mid-range punch and has a top speed of 200+ kmph.
Triumph made their bikes track ready and offer some features which help the rider to do more. It has a specific track mode that tweaks the bike automatically to the best track setting. Street Triple RS equipped with Brembo M50 Monobloc Calipers, Fully adjustable Showa fork and an Ohlins rear Monshock. If a bike is track-ready then it should have those types of tyres also. Which helps in leaning the bike onto the corners. So for considering this, it comes with Pirelli’s latest generation Super Corsa SP V3 tyres.
