“Offered in five trims with minimal design and ample features upgrade”
What changes we would expect in Volkswagen Polo Facelift?
Being a facelifted version, it doesn’t get major updates in the styling except for the refreshed front bumper LED headlights and tail lamps. The front headlights are now more towards the Tiguan and on the range-topping GTI, you get the Matrix LED lights.
On the inside, the first major upgrade is the 10.25-inches Tiguan-inspired instrument cluster and 9.2-inches touchscreen infotainment system with all the goodies. In an addition, there is optional adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist feature packs are also there to choose from.
From the performance aspect, it gets the same 1.0-liter motor with naturally aspirated and turbocharged options. In the naturally aspirated variant, it produces around 80 BHP of power and 93 Nm of torque impaired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other side, the turbocharged TSI unit is capable to produce the peak power of 95 BHP and 110 BHP with DCT transmission is optional with 95 BHP and standard for the 110 BHP motor.
For some markets in Europe, it would be offered with a CNG version that will be available with the 1.0-liter, TGI motor. In this fuel option, the motor would deliver power figures of 90 BHP and 160 Nm of torque. For surely, the mileage figures with this fuel option will be the same as the diesel one or maybe more than that.
“The facelift Polo will available with two engine options with three tuned settings”
