The editions are added to the top-line trim XZ+ of SUVs.


The working nature of Tata Motors is exceptional in the market, the addition of Dark Edition, Kaziranga Edition, and later Gold edition maintained the ignited spark in the SUV lovers. These editions do perform great in the market and thousands are sold.
So Tata Motor again came with a new edition name “Jet Edition”, for its SUV range (Nexon, Harrier, and Safari). This new edition is based on the top trim XZ+ and is priced at Rs 12.13, Rs 20.90, and Rs 21.35 lakh for the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari respectively.
What’s new in the Jet Edition?
First and foremost, the paint scheme is new and has some sort of bronze finish on the body and white on the roof, Tata calls it “Starlight.” While the alloy wheels are finished in Jet Black colour and the skid plates are in silver.


Moreover inside the cabin, the edition gets new white leather upholstery and a bronze treatment on the dashboard, center console, and door pads. Other than these cosmetic changes, there aren’t any kind of mechanical and feature upgrades (Except a USB type-C charger in all rows of Safari and finally the Harrier gets an electronic parking brake and all four disc brakes). The Jet Edition looks and feels similar to the Dark, Kaziranga, and Standard SUVs.
There are some safety features added to the Tata Safari and Harrier Jet Edition trims such as driver drowsiness alert, after impact braking, and panic brake alert.


In terms of engine, the Nexon is powered by two engine options, a 1.2L turbocharged petrol motor, and a 1.5L diesel. The power figures are 120 bhp and 110 bhp mated to either a 6-Speed MT or a 6-Speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). Whereas, the Tata Safari and Harrier share a single unit of 2.0L, Kryotec, turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 bhp and 350 Nm and the transmission options are MT and AT both.
