What’s new in the Suzuki Jimny 4Sport
Suzuki Jimny, an offroading vehicle, got another trim update in Brazil. The trim Suzuki Jimny 4Sport is the latest addition to the lineup and only carries some cosmetic and mechanical updates. It is launched as a limited edition in the initial run, and only 100 units will be produced and available for sale. Simultaneously, Suzuki is also working on the five-door Suzuki Jimny, which is expected to be disclosed by 2023.
The Jimny 4Sport is based on the Suzuki Jimny Sierra and is priced at R$181,990 (Rs 27.15 lakh, ex-showroom). With this price tag, the Jimny 4Sport become the costliest Jimny in the lineup. With a higher price tag, you’ll get some superior things over to the Jimny Sierra.
The list starts with the pre-installed black painted snorkel, that’s increased its water wading capacity to up to 600mm. A matte black painted tubular rockslide, that not even protects the car from rocks and pebbels, it even helps the person to go in and out of the Jimny 4Sport. The SUV gets body cladding on the fender and body in a matte black finish, 4Sport badging in black with a neon blue outline, four towing hooks finished in neon blue, a matte painted roof rack, and a black skid plate.
The boxy shape of Suzuki Jimny 4Sport gives it a proper offroad SUV stance, and the thick rubber 215/75 R15 tyres on the 15-inch diameter alloy wheel make the drive effortless during a rough patch and river crossing. The tyres are tubeless, and the spare tyre is mounted on the rear door of the same size.
The overall theme of the car carries a neon blue accent, and it is used in the interior too. The surroundings of the ac vents, rear knob, and seats are finished in the theme blue colour. In contrast, the major part of the inside is the colour black. The 4Sport badging is also embossed on the headrest of the seats, and the rest car is similar to the Jimny Sierra.
The engine and transmission are- a 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 4-speed gearbox with a 4×4 powertrain. The power figures from the petrol motor are – 108 bhp and 138 Nm.
