Meteor 350, A new addition to the RE lineup.
The Meteor 350 from Royal Enfield is about to launch in the Indian market in the upcoming months (Sept-Oct). The spy shots and leaked information are rumored for quite a while but are now just ahead of the launch. Its features, variants, and color options are leaked now. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be launched in three variants- the base variant Fireball, the middle line Stellar, and the top one Supernova.
The base variant Fireball will be offered in Yellow and Red color options, the Stellar variant will come with Metallic Gloss Red, Matte Black, and Metallic Gloss Blue color shades while the premium dual-tone Brown or Blue paint are kept for the top-end Supernova variant.
Apart from the color schemes, the Fireball is equipped with- A Tripper Navigation System, Black component, Single Colour Tank, Graphics with Decals, and Coloured Rim Tape. The Stellar is equipped with all the components that Fireball has. Except that, it gets Body-Coloured Components, Premium Badges, Chrome Exhaust System, Chrome EPI cover, and Back Rest. While the top-end Supernova carries some exceptional features like- Premium Dual-Tone Paint, Machined Wheels, Premium Seat Finishes, Wind Screen, and Chrome Indicators.
However, the mechanical specs are not revealed yet but we can expect a more powerful and refined 350cc, Air-Cooled Single Cylinder Engine with Over Head Cam (OHC). The motor will be paired with a 5-Speed gearbox which we have already seen in the RE bikes.
Powerful braking is as important as a powerful engine. So it will be equipped with disc brakes for both front and rear with dual-channel ABS as standard across the variants. To make the ride comfortable, telescopic forks on the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers with 5 adjustable settings are preloaded into the bike. The shock absorbers unit is the same as what we were getting in its predecessor Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X.
