Royal Enfield GT 650, Continental GT 650 launched in India.
The Chennai based Indian bike maker Royal Enfield is ready to launch the Royal Enfield GT 650 after the success of Continental GT 535 in the year 2018. This bike remains the same in terms of styling and looks. But the engine going to offer is more powerful and punchy and it also updated to BS6 norms.
The GT 650 is launched to fill the gap. Who wants to buy Harley Davidson but they can’t afford because of the pricing. As it cost half than the price of a Harley Iron 988 and offers good performance and feel of riding.
Royal Enfield knew for its retro design and good build quality. Which lasts long. The same we got in the GT 650. It styled in Cafe Retro and offers only one seating and behind the seat, is covered in a plastic cowl. The headlamp shape is round. As. we got in every bike of Royal Enfield, but it lacks a LED. At this price point, a LED headlamp is expected. Otherwise, it put good throw at night from its 110-watt halogen bulb.
There are no changes in the bike. The design is the same as Interceptor 535 has. It comes in new color schemes – Chrome & Black and White & Black. There are no alloy wheels options. As we already knew that RE never offers any kind of alloy wheels in their bikes. So you can take one from after market.
The Royal Enfield GT 650 is equipped with a 650 cc parallel twin-cylinder BS6 compliant engine. It produces power figures of 47 Bhp and 52 Nm of torque mated to a 6-Speed gearbox with a sleek shifter.
