Nissan Kicks Turbo and 1.3 ltr engine overview.
Nissan India is planning for the launch of Kicks 1.3 turbo. The launch is announced by Nissan and, there are some chances, that the launch of Nissan Kicks turbo 1.3 will be held after the lockdown ends.
Kicks were launched in India in January 2019 with a 1.5 ltr petrol. Which was churning out a power delivery of 104 bhp and 142 Nm of torque. While the 1.5 ltr diesel churns out 108 bhp and 250 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed for the petrol and 6-speed for diesel transmission. There was no automatic option available.
In 2020 Nissan is preparing to give more to its customer with new BS6 updated kicks equipped with a 1.3-liter petrol turbo engine. This engine produces a massive figures of 153.8 bhp and 254 Nm of torque from four-cylinder motor mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Our sources said that there might be chances that it will also come with an X-Tronic CVT transmission.
Nissan is not planning to offer a diesel engine updated in BS6 norms Because if the 1.5 ltr diesel engine is updated in BS6 norms then the price goes higher and it won’t make any sense.
We got features like cruise control, ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, seat belt reminder, high-speed alert, rear parking sensors, and camera with adaptive guidelines. The Kicks also equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with android auto, apple car play, and navigation, 18-inch alloy wheels, practical roof rails, and passive keyless entry. According to the sources, there will be minor interior upgrades as well but. We won’t expect any changes in the design and features list but new graphics can be added.
