The New-Gen Hyundai Tucson is equipped with 360-degree camera and ADAS features.
The New-Gen Hyundai Tucson has launched in the Indian market today. The upgrade is significant and carries the new design of Hyundai global models. Upcoming all the Hyundai cars will be built on the same platform such – as the new Creta and Alcazar.
The front facia of the Tucson has sharp four horizontal slat DRLs on the edges of the grille, turn indicators are placed next to the DRLs and the headlight setup is glid a bit down and has a separate high and low beam all-LED setup. The lower section of the bumper has piano finish lines and a brushed aluminum-finished diffuser. On the front bumper, there are four parking sensors and a camera is placed below the Hyundai logo. As this generation Tucson features ADAS, the radar is placed on the center part of the windshield and the automatic wipers sensors are also placed there.
The dimensions of Tucson are massive, it’s even the longest in its segment. It has a length of 4,630 mm, a width of 1,865 mm, and a height of 1,665 mm. While the wheelbase is 2,755 mm, ground clearance is 172 mm and the maximum seating capacity is up to 5 people.

The sides have large 18-inch size machine-cut alloy wheels set up with 235/60 R18 section MRF Wanderer tires (shown in the showcased model), body cladding, body-colored door handles, and sharp edges across both doors. The window lining is finished with a glossy black finish and the top has roof rails, a big panoramic sunroof, and a shark fin antenna.
The rear section has mesmerizing tail lighting setup with a ton of details, a long red stop line crosses the entire tailgate and below that line, two-section are placed similar to DRLs line structure on the edges. On the top, it gets an integrated spoiler with a high stop lamp, rear wiper, and defogger.
The New-Gen Hyundai Tucson is powered by two 2.0L engine units in different fuelings. The 2.0L Petrol unit has a grunt of 156 PS and 192 Nm mated to a 6-Speed automatic transmission, while the 2.0L diesel unit has a grunt of 186 PS and a massive 416 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to an 8-Speed automatic transmission and it also gets the Hyundai’s HTRAC AWD system with different terrain modes such as – Snow, Mud, and Rock.
The New-Gen Hyundai Tucson will be launched on 8th August and the prices are assumed to be around Rs 23-28 lakh, ex-showroom.
