The Sport variant of the Ford Endeavour spotted at a dealership in the stockyard with multiple identical changes. Some days back, a white colour Endeavour sport has also spotted testing on the roads. This is launched in the competition of Fortuner TRD that will be going on sale really soon. The Sport trim will be placed on the higher side of the current trims and also the price will be costly in comparison to Titanium 2.0 4×4.
The changes are quite noticeable and this variant doesn’t carry any kind of chrome anywhere that is great for the chrome haters. The changes include- a new blacked-out front grille along with smoked headlamps, the blacked-out lower part of the front and rear bumper, black treatment of side OVRMs, Black Endeavour badging on side fender, blacked out 18 inches alloy wheel with a rugged design, and a blacked-out badging strip across the trunk. The complete design and additions are based on the black theme, in which all the chrome parts and inserts are turned into piano black. The left lower side of the trunk gate has the badging of sport.
The changes on the exterior are viewable in the photos but the interior is not. So it is expected to get an all-black interior with black leatherette seat covers along with mats and upholstery as well.
Apart from the cosmetic, the engine will be the same for the sport version of Ford Endeavour. It carries the same 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine that produces 167 bhp of power and 420 Nm of peak torque mated to a 10-Speed automatic transmission sourced from Mercedes-Benz.
However, the launch date is not revealed officially yet but it should be launched in upcoming weeks and the price will be obvious over the current top trim Titanium 4×4. The Sport variant will compete with Toyota Fortuner TRD.
