What are the changes in Sport Edition?
First and foremost, this edition is based on the Titanium Plus and packed with the same specs and mechanicals. Some changes over the Titanium Plus are, the front three slat grille has been changed to a gloss black grille with a honeycomb pattern. Lowered down, the bumper along with the skid plate is finished in black and the headlamps are smoked out too.
On the sides as well, the black theme is carried on the side mirrors, foot bar, ORVMS, and a new set of blacked-out alloy wheels. On the back also, all the chrome and silver elements have been blacked out. Some of the elements still have a chrome finish are- Door handles, Border of the Ford logo, and alloy wheels nut bolts. The Ford Endeavour Sport is offered with three colour options to choose from- Absolute Black, Diffused Silver, and Diamond White.
Features on offer with sport trim?
The Endeavour is one of the best features loaded SUV in the segment equipped with almost every feature. Some of the highlighted features are- Dual Zone Climate Control, Sync 3 Touchscreen Infotainment System with Apple car play, Android Auto, and Navigation with adaptive guidelines and a zoom feature, a Big Panoramic Sunroof, Powered Tail Gate, Terrain Management System, Front Powered Seats with 8-way adjustable settings and Powered Third Row of Seats.
What’s the PowerStation?
Same as the interior, Here too no changes are made. It is the same 2.0-liter, 4-Cylinder, Turbo-Charged Diesel engine that churns out 170 bhp of maximum power and 420 Nm of massive torque mated to a Mercedes sourced 10-Speed Automatic gearbox. However, the torque band is not wide enough, it stays only at 2000-2500 RPM but the intelligent gearbox knows the proper use of 10 gears. The performance is quite good, linear, and do upshifts and downshifts really quickly. Also, the turbo lack is very well contained. Overall, its a great package over the Toyota Fortuner.
