MG Motors has released a video on explaining the automatic parking system of the upcoming premium MG Gloster. The Gloster is about to launch in the Indian market in the upcoming 2-3 months. In the video, the MG Gloster is completely visible and most of the design and other elements are showing there.
The Gloster will be a complete full-size premium SUV that will compete with the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and Mahindra Alturas. The front carriers a big chrome grille, a LED headlamps setup with eyebrow style white LED DRLs, and vertical fog lamps. The side has chrome finished 12 spokes alloy wheels that would be 20 inches, window chrome line, chrome door handles, and side footsteps. The rear is quite subtle and Gloster is broadly written there on the trunk and also the tailgate is powered and can be operated by waving a leg behind the boot area.
Let discuss the automatic parking system, the parking system can be engaged by a click on the button placed near the near gear lever and after that, the car automatically finds its suitable space by some of the sensor placed on the sides. However, the gears, accelerate and braking have to control by the driver.
Moreover, the MG is clearly claiming that the Gloster will be India’s first level 1 autonomous premium SUV. It has self-control and self-driving capabilities but only the basic level. The car that belongs to this segment has an automatic parking system except for the Toyota Fortuner.
As we earlier told that, the MG Gloster would launch in the upcoming months (i.e October-November) and it has a four-wheel driving system with ADAS technology and various other features.
