The new updated Scorpio only comes in four variants S5. S7, S9, and S11.

Mahindra India revealed the prices of BS6 updated Scorpio. Now, it only comes in four variants S5, S7, S9, and S11. The base S5 variant is priced at 12.40 lakhs while the top-end S11 is priced at somewhere around 16.00 lakhs (ex-showroom).

While upgrading the Scorpio to BS6, It dropped out some variants and engine options as well. The previous base S3 variant has been discontinued, the 2.5 ltr diesel engine is not going to offer anymore, Also the 120 bhp engine is not taking place anywhere. There is one more major change in the powertrain. Which is the 4WD option which was offered in the top-spec trim S11 is not offered anymore.

Under the hood, you got the updated 2.2 ltr four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine. This engine produces around 140 bhp and 320 Nm mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. There is no automatic transmission option is available for the Scorpio till now. But there are certain chances that it might get an automatic transmission as the previous BS4 variant had.

There are no changes in features and interior. It comes with all the features, In the base S5 variant, some feature is standard like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), dual front airbag, seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, air conditioner, and Mahindra micro-hybrid technology. In the top-spec S11 variant you’ll get some additional features like 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment along with android auto and navigation, automatic climate control, cruise control, reverse camera, leather upholstery, and more.

Mahindra Scorpio BS6 direct Rivals?

There are no direct rivals of Scorpio but previously the Tata Safari was the direct rival of Scorpio but in 2015 it was discontinued by Tata. Tata’s Hexa is giving some amount of competition to Scorpio in terms of Pricing and Size But moreover, Scorpio is ruling the segment
