What are the changes in the exterior of Kia Stinger Facelift?
The facelift model of Kia Stinger has been revealed in the Korean market just ahead of the launch. The premium sports sedan of Kia has got some cosmetic changes in the exterior and some in the interior too. This is the mid-cycle facelift and doesn’t get any major updates you can barely notice them from the outside. There are slight tweaks in the exterior some are- the tweaked headlamps, the Tiger nose grille on the upfront, and a different badge on the hood instead of Kia’s. However, it is likely only for the Korean market.
Kia has also introduced new cosmetic packs for the performance variant of the Kia Stinger- the Black package for the US market and the Dark Package for the rest of the markets. The additional cosmetic packs allow you to customize the car in your taste. Some of the add on’s are- wide-bore exhaust muffler for the Dark Package and the Black Package includes darkened alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, black finishing wing mirrors, and side skirts.
Apart from this, the only changes are made in the alloy wheels and on the rear end. There will be two alloy wheels options that are on offer- 18 inches and 19 inches. The rear tail lamps are tweaked and connected with a bar across the trunk door. There is also an optional package that contains a larger wide-bore bright silver exhaust muffler with a blacked-out diffuser panel.
What changes are done in the Interior?
The overall layout of the interior is not changes expect the one which is the 10.23 inches touchscreen infotainment system includes apple car play, android auto, and navigation. Expect this, other change includes revised material finish and a frameless rearview mirror. The ambient lighting system has also upgraded and now has 64 colour lighting options to choose from.
Which engine does it get under the hood?
The facelift Kia Stinger gets two engine options- a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 motor and a 2.0-liter motor. The V6 motor produces around 365 bhp and the 2.0-liter motor produces 182 bhp. The V6 motor is only available on the Sport trim and rest are having the 2.0 unit. However, the engine options are not revealed officially but hopefully, Kia would carry forward these gems.
India Launch of Kia Stinger?
There are not any official announcement are made of the India arrival and neither there are chances of it. Currently, Kia is focusing on the launch of Kia Sonet which has recently unveiled in the Indian Market. Apart from this, Kia Seltos is also doing great and leading on the top two positions on every month.
