Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R India Launch?
In the Indonesian market, Kawasaki launched a new product named “Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R”. The specifications are finally announced along with the price tag. The ZX-25R is offered in two variants. One is the base, that priced at IDR 96,000,000 (Rs 4.99 lakhs), and the second “Special Variant”, is priced at IDR 112,900,000 (Rs 5.87 lakhs). However, there aren’t any mechanical differences but, some add-ons are included in the Special variant. Such as Dual tone colors, traction control, bi-directional quick-shifter, and riding modes.
In terms of styling, it also follows the same design language as the other Kawasaki’s. The Dual LED headlight, full-fearing, chiseled fuel tank, and short rear end reflect the great taste of Kawasaki. The ZX-25R Special Editon is offered in multiple color options including Candy Plasma Blue/Metallic Spark Blue, Lime Green/Ebony Metallic, and Spark Black/Pearl White. While the standard comes and includes only Metallic Spark Black.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is mainly focused on performance and enthusiasm. Despite being a 250cc motor, the power and torque it produces are immense. Even higher segment bikes like KTM RC 390 produce less power than them. This 249.8cc inline four-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine churns out 51 PS at 15,500 RPM and 22.9 Nm of peak torque at 14,500 RPM, and redlines at 17,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the top variant “Special Variant” is equipped with a bi-directional quick shifter for clutchless shifts.
Will it launch in India?
Currently, it is only launched in Indonesia, and in the future, it will cover other countries too. But the chances of India are too low. Because it is a performance-centric bike and if launched in India then the price tag would be so higher. Also, India is not a market for a niche product and if will launch in India then the sales numbers will end up few.
