The 2021 Isuzu MU-X is available in two trims with a 1.9-liter diesel engine.
The Isuzu MU-X SUV has launched in India with a starting price of Rs 33.25 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The price marginally increased in comparison to its predecessor BS4 variant that was priced at Rs 29.31 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi), the price difference is Rs 5.88 Lakhs, which’s huge. Now the Isuzu MU-X Price touches Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Mahindra Alturas G4 price bracket. That means, now it has to compete with bid daddies. Exterior offerings in Isuzu MU-X:
Isuzu has globally launched the new updated version of the MU-X SUV but in India, they just updated the engine. The design is retained with negligible changes. The front has a think chrome grille with the Isuzu logo embossed into it, the blacked-out lower part of the front and rear bumper, Bi-LED projector headlamps with eyebrow style DRLs and LED tail lamps, Double slat chrome finish on ORVMs, side steps, and roof rails.

Same as the outer of the car, the inside is also retained, It has an analog instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, push start/stop button, one-touch split & fold function for access to the third row of seats, AC vents in all three rows, soft leather inserts in the dashboard and upper for parts of the doors, leatherette upholstery, a touch screen infotainment system with android auto, apple car play, navigation, and rear camera display, For safety instance it has- ABS, EBD, Traction control, 6 airbags, reverse parking sensors and some more.

What’s under the hood:
The Isuzu MU X is powered by the same 1.9-liter, turbocharged diesel engine. The engine is now more powerful after got the update to BS6 norms, Now it produces a maximum power of 161 BHP and a peak torque of 320 Nm. Whereas the engine is paired to a 6-Speed automatic transmission as standard. The SUV is available with both 4×2 and 4×4 drive train options. The 4×4 trims get some additional features like- ‘shift on the fly’ select dial for a better offroading experience.
