The new fresh updated version of Honda XBlade has been launched in the Indian market. However, it doesn’t get major updates in the design but some graphical add on’s did the job. This new BS6 updated launched at a starting price of Rs 1.06 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and available in two variants. The top trim costs around Rs 1.11 lakhs (Ex-showroom).
The overall design language and looks of Honda XBlade are sharp and chiseled. The headlamp and tail lamp is the same unit that we were getting in its predecessor but new graphics on tank and side fearing gives a fresh feel and makes the changes too to its predecessor. There is a fully digital instrument cluster is on offer that provides information like- Digital clock & service due indicator, gear positioning indicator, and some other basic more. The new add on this bike is the engine kill switch that is quite handy and needed too.
The major update we are getting in Honda Xblade is the dual petal disc brakes and single-channel ABS as standard. The front disc sized at 276mm and the rear is 220mm. For the lower variant, it gets 130mm drum brake for the rear and the same 276mm disc for the front.
A 162.71 cc single-cylinder, fuel injected, petrol engine is powering the Honda Xblade and produces around 13.67 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14.7 Nm at 5500 RPM while mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Xblade has a fuel carrying capacity of 12 liters and the kerb weight is 144 kgs. The XBlade will compete with TVS Apache 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar 150.
