Modifications, we heard of this term many times in our surroundings. Basically, it is more popular in cars but some keen lovers of bikes are also done really cool. Today, here we have the Honda CBR 250R in a modified avatar with mechanical and cosmetic changes. Also, the colour scheme is changed to black and tomato red that looks quite cool.
The main identical thing that highlights is the side fearing and exhaust. The dual-tone red and black theme with the silver custom exhaust is really improving its overall styling and also stand it out from others. Other than this, some minor details include red coloured center part of the front disc, custom turn indicators, crystal clear windshield, and V shape treatment on the headlight with glossy black tape.
Apart from the changes, it is powered by a 249.60cc, Single Cylinder motor that produces 26.5 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 19.86 Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-Speed gearbox. The overall power of this engine is great and does offer an ample amount of power in the mid-range. However, the mileage figures are not that great in comparison to its competitors Bajaj Dominar, KTM Duke 250, and Yamaha FZS 25. The Honda CBR 250R Modified has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters and the average figure of per liter is 27-29 kmpl according to the rider riding dynamics.
Despite being so old, the CBR 250R looks quite attractive and the modified has just improved the looks more. However, the new generation Honda CBR 250R 2020 has unveiled globally with an increment of 3 Bhp in comparison to this model but as of now no official announcements are given related to the India launch but we can expect it to launch in the last of the year 2021.
