Toyota Revealed its new Epic and Epic black Fortuner with some cosmetic changes and some minor tweaks in the interior as well. The new Fortuner variant is available with a 2.7 ltr and 2.4 ltr 4-cylinders diesel engines. The well known 2.8 ltr diesel engine is not offered in the Epic editions. The Epic Edition got 2.7 ltr and 2.4 ltr engines.
This Fortuner gets some minor tweaks on the exterior, like the front Epic written bar going through the bumper, some black inserts on the bumpers to stands it out from the others Fortuner. You’ll get the black roof on the Epic black edition to give it a dual-tone white and black look. Which does look sporty. A new black finished alloy wheels design is also showcased which carries its dual-tone look and completes the theme.
On the interior you won’t get some major changes, As, its just an additional variant of the existing Fortuner but it does get some inserts to make it different from the others like Epic badged floor mats, some Epic branding on the dashboard, new design seat covers, and Epic name embedded scuff plates on all four doors.
Fortuner Epic and Epic black equipped with a 2.7 ltr or 2.4 ltr diesel engines we already saw in the Innova Crysta. The performance is gonna be the same as the existing engines produce. Which is around 177 bhp and 148 bhp. Which powertrains to the front two wheels or all the four wheels mated with an only 6-Speed automatic transmission. Manual transmission is not gonna seemed in the Fortuner Epic.
The Epic Fortune carrier all features like ABS(Anti-lock braking system), EBD(Electronic Brake Distribution), ESC(Electronic stability control), hill hold, Dual front airbag, 8-inch touch screen infotainment system with connectivity like apple car play, android auto with navigation and mirror link. It could also get push start-stop button, cruise control and multifunction mid.
Toyota is also planning to launch the BS6 compliant engine Fortuner with some cosmetic changes and tweaks. The new Fortuner could get a new front grille with some inserts in the front bumper. The design of alloy wheels might be changed with a new one. An updated infotainment system is also expected from Toyota. As it lags in performance and overall user interface. Engines and transmission are likely to remain unchanged in the upcoming facelift.
