Tata Safari, the desi 4×4 SUV of India is now comeback after a long time in a completely new avatar. The new Tata Safari 2021 is based on the new OMEGARC platform that is derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform. What’s on the outside?
One thing is clearly evident that a lot of chrome work has been done on the New Tata Safari 2021. The use of chrome over the car is a lot but the way of putting chrome is quite impressive. It doesn’t feel over not even on a single corner. Apart from that, this carries the shame front share as the Harrier has with a few changes. The headlamps and fog lamps setup are placed below the eyebrow-styled DRLs, the front grille and both bumpers have Tata’s try aero theme design elements. On the side, it has 18 inches of diamond-cut alloy wheels with chunky wheel arches.
The major change in the New Tata Safari in comparison to the Harrier is the roof rail and the addition of a quarter panel and the third row of seats. The seat has sleek led tail lamps and a chrome-plated Safari logo on the middle of the trunk gate.
What’s on the inside?
The New Tata Safari gets a new interior colour scheme of black and whitish beige combination of colour. The upper parts of the cabin have been colour in black while the lower part and seats have whitish beige colour upholstery. The Safari is available with both 6 and 7 seater options. The 6 seater option has a captain seat in the second and the 7 seaters has a bench seat in the second. The third row has the same front-facing seats with AC vents and cup holders.
