The 6-Speed gearbox is one of the few in the 150cc segment bike because the rest of the bikes like- Pulsar 150, Apache 160, and Suzuki Gixxer 150 come with a 5-Speed gearbox. While the Boar & Stroke and Compression ratio of the engine are 58mm x 58.7mm and 11.6:1 respectively.
The riding posture of the Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 is on the sharper side and the rider has to sit at an approx 45-degree angle. The Yamaha Bike has quite aerodynamically designed and the front air intake helps the radiator sucks the air into it to cool down the bike.
The performance from the motor is impressive in the low and mid-end but the quick-shifter helps the rider to upshift very fast and that helps the bike to gain speed faster. Speed thrills but kills, So the R15 V5 has Dual Channel ABS and the Traction Control System which helps the bike to stop very well and prevent from slipping respectively.
