The all-new and more technically upgraded 2022 Honda Civic has revealed in the US markets today. In comparison to its old generation, it’s now way more futuristic and true to its concept, which was showcased last year in November. The 10th Gen Civic is somehow similar to the current-gen Honda City from the front and gives an instant glimpse of its also.

Design and Dimensions:
The design becomes the discussion point after the 2022 Honda Civic revealed. The overall body shape of the car is sleek and aerodynamic with a large hood area. Its front has sleek LED headlamps with a small in-between. Also, the front bumper is wide enough to carry a large air intake grille along with fog lamps. On the side, it has 18-inches diamond-cut alloy wheels with wider section tyres, window chrome garnish and a sleek raising line straight from the front bumper to the rear LED tail lamps.
The dimensions of the new 2020 Honda Civic are as follows- 4,673mm in length, 1,800 in width, and 1,414mm in height, while the wheelbase,2735mm long. In comparison to its predecessor, the overall wheelbase is 32mm longer.

Interior layout and offerings:
The dashboard layout of the 2022 Honda Civic revealed has now completely changed and now has a honeycomb pattern in the dashboard with black fabric upholstery all across the cabin. The steering wheel looks a bit inspired by the current-gen City and CIvic. Also, the physical buttons are carry forwarded from the earlier car. Apart from this, it has multiple infotainment screen options in different options, like a 7-inches in LX, EX, and sports variant, a 10.2 inches fully digital instrument cluster with 9-inches infotainment in Touring variant. All the touchscreen infotainment clusters are equipped with android auto, apple car play, mirror link, and navigation features with audio guidance.

Engine and Transmission options:
The 2022 Civic is available with two engine options-, a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that produces 158 BHP of power and 183 Nm of torque. The second motor is a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder turbo petrol one that produces 180 BHP of power and 240 Nm of peak torque. Both the motors are mated to a CVT gearbox. Apart from the mechanicals, the new Civic car is also equipped with a host of safety features. Some are- traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, low-speed braking control, and some others.
