The production of 2020 Honda City has been started in Greater Noida, Utter Pradesh plant. The Japnese car maker has planned to launch the car in the upcoming July month. All the final touch-ups and preparations have already done. The Honda City is in the queue from the last three to four months due to COVID-19. But now they all set to roll out.
Honda is planning to deliver the cars to the dealers across India and booking will be started in the upcoming few days with an approx booking amount of Rs 15,000-20,000. The is the most awaited Honda city in his history and Brand has soo much expectation to the 2020 Honda City.
This City will be the longest and widest one that does offer great comfort, which is its UPS. It also gathers a great design along with fully LED headlamps that do looks great and throw great illumination on the road. The alloy wheels are 16 inches diamond cut one finished in chrome. Rear-end is equipped with a setup of sleek LED tail lamps along with Honda logo and V-tech or D-tech badging.
The interior is one of the USP of the 2020 Honda CIty. It has a great set of comfortable seats along with arm rest for both front and rear passengers. The seats itself offer great side, back, and under-thigh support. The space on the rear seats is immense and feels like a room. The window area is large that allows the sunlight to enter the cabin and gives an airy feel to the occupants.
The City is packed with all bells and whistles like- touchscreen infotainment system with apple car play, android auto, and navigation, automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlamps, wipers, and much more. The 2020 Honda City is offered in two engine options. One is 1.5-liter Petrol and the second one is 1.5 liter Diesel. The Petrol motor produces around 121 PS @6600 RPM and 145 Nm @4300 RPM mated to a 6-Speed manual and automatic CVT transmission. On the other side, the Diesel motor produces around 100 PS @3600 RPM and 200 Nm @1750 RPM mated to a single 6-Speed manual transmission.
The 2020 Honda City compete against Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, and Toyota Yaris. However, its main rival is Verna and Ciaz only.
